Comcast is set to introduce a new streaming service bundle called "StreamSaver," which will include Peacock, Netflix, and Apple TV Plus. This bundle will be available to Comcast broadband and TV customers at a discounted rate compared to subscribing to each service separately.
During an industry conference, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts revealed that StreamSaver will be priced significantly lower than any other similar offering currently available in the market. The exact price of the bundle has not been disclosed yet, nor has information about whether it will be ad-supported or ad-free.
Currently, the lowest monthly price for individual subscriptions to all three services is $22.97. This includes Netflix Basic with ads ($6.99 per month), Peacock's Premium tier with ads ($5.99 per month), and the standard $9.99 Apple TV Plus plan.
Comcast's move follows a trend of streaming service bundles becoming more prevalent in the industry. Last week, Disney announced a similar three-way package featuring Disney Plus, Hulu, and HBO Max. These bundles aim to combat subscription fatigue and reduce cancellation rates by offering consumers better value and convenience.
