50 Cent just launched his 956,000 square feet G-Unit film studio In Louisiana which is now the second biggest black owned production studio in the world

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson recently unveiled G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana, marking an expansion of his film and TV projects. Jackson expressed his excitement about the launch, emphasizing the transformative power of music, film, and television. He sees the establishment of G-Unit Studios in Shreveport not only as a business decision but also as a commitment to fostering talent and building a creative community.

Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux also welcomed G-Unit Studios to the city, highlighting Shreveport's rich culture and talent as a perfect fit for the endeavor. To commemorate the launch, Jackson was honored with his own celebratory day in Shreveport and presented with a key to the city by Mayor Arceneaux.

The in-house production facility is situated in downtown Shreveport, with plans for further expansion in the area. G-Unit Film & Television Inc., founded in 2003, has produced various notable TV shows, including the hit series "Power" and its spin-offs on Starz. Last year, Jackson ended G-Unit's deal with Starz and signed a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal with Fox after expressing dissatisfaction with how Starz handled the production company's TV shows.
